In high school, I became fascinated with Japanese animation and literature works. I was very busy that time and my parents hid nearly all my books. However, I succeed in having a Genji monogatari at hand and reading it was one of my biggest pleasures. It was from that time that I wished that I could learn Japanese. This year I finally got the chance and time to learn it as my second foreign language. I believe learning Japanese can help me understand Japanese culture and people better.
